At School of Prophets Aotearoa/NZ we’re intentional about providing a safe place for people to develop and grow in their prophetic ministry within a relational community atmosphere.

This is a training event, with a strong emphasis on building community and active participation.

During our time together you’ll…

• Receive biblically-based coaching by trusted prophets and trainers.

• Grow in your understanding of New Covenant prophetic ministry.

• Be activated and stretched in both receiving revelation and ministering.

• Increase in prophetic sharpness and accuracy.

• Grow in your ability to steward your prophetic gift and give clear, easily understood prophetic words.

• Make significant connections. Learn from, and share your wisdom with, others in a supportive peer mentoring environment.

• Have opportunities to connect directly with trainers throughout the day.

• Learn how to bring transformation to your place of influence.

Attending the three-day intensive also gives you free access to Eagle’s Nest – a monthly online Zoom session that includes teaching, discussion and relationship building.

If you’re looking for advanced training, challenging teaching, practical stretch, personal growth, and meaningful connections with a supportive prophetic community, then School of Prophets Aotearoa is for you!

This training event is not suitable for beginners. We provide ongoing training for experienced prophetic ministers and emerging or established prophets.

Participants need to have ongoing regular experience using the gift of prophecy. We use a combination of teaching and on-the-spot activations, so participants must be comfortable giving prophetic words quickly, confidently and in accordance with New Covenant ministry principles. Participants also need to be willing to stretch and engage with activations that are outside their comfort zone.

School of Prophets Aotearoa runs from 9:00am to 5:30pm each day, including lunch and morning/afternoon tea breaks. We encourage you to bring lunch and snacks with you, as there isn’t a lot of time for travelling offsite. Evenings are free time.

Each day contains core topics, electives, connection sessions and practical activations that change yearly. You can choose between two interest-based options for each elective session.

Audio of all sessions will be available at a later date.

There will be bonus Zoom sessions before and after the in-person event. We encourage you to take advantage of these and attend both if you can.

At School of Prophets Aotearoa you are an active participant, not just a consumer of information. You help create the experience for all of us, and your contribution is essential for the social and learning environment.

One of the ways we ask you to participate in your own learning and help others to grow is the Peer Mentoring Challenge.

You’ll need to read through the instructions in the Info Pack and come ready with a question related to your own growth journey, for example a challenge you are facing or something you want to accomplish.

During the three days, ask as many people as possible your question and collect quotes and insights from their answers. You’ll share your question and their insights on the last day.

You’ll also answer as many questions as possible, and share your own experience and insights. So don’t forget to ask other participants what their question is as you chat to them during the breaks.

Team Discount $160 per person

Teams are 4 or more people who function as a team, or who attend the same local church or ministry training school.

To register a team: A team leader or representative must fill out the Team Registration Form by Monday 19th April. If your team meets the criteria, this person will become the contact person for your team, and is responsible for organising and communicating with team members. Once you have 4 or more confirmed team members we will send the team leader the discounted Registration Cost for the whole team. The Team Leader will make one payment for the whole team by Online Banking to the SOPA account, then all team members must individually register through the website by Monday 3rd May, using a unique Team Code that doesn’t require them to pay when registering.

Team discounts cannot be retrospectively applied to paid registrations, and we do not give refunds for Team Registrations.

School of Prophets Aotearoa is a training event that is designed to have a learning arc across the three days, and an emphasis on building community. For this reason we do not offer day passes, and we encourage you to invest in your development by putting aside time to attend all three days.

Meals, snacks, transport and accommodation are not included. So make sure you think about this ahead of time so you don’t go hungry.

We need volunteers to help things run smoothly, including: pre-event set-up, kitchen duties, cleaning, registration, media and marketing, AV, resources, speaker support, time keepers, and more!

You can opt to be a non-registered volunteer, or to register as an attendee. The key differences are:

Registered Volunteers – meet the criteria for registration and register as participants, contribute $60 towards Trainer Koha’s, and participate as fully as duties allow.

Non-Registered volunteers – are primarily there to serve, so do not pay. They may participate in Worship and Core Sessions, but sit out or only partner with each other for Activations, Workshops, and Intensives.

We cannot guarantee that your duties will allow you to participate in your preferred sessions, and duties may overlap with sessions or require you to serve during breaks.

We cannot guarantee that you will be assigned to your preferred duty. We are a small event so you’ll need to be flexible and willing to pitch in.

Aa a volunteer you will need to familiarise yourself with the requirements of your role before the event, and attend a pre-event Zoom meeting and morning team meetings during the event.
